Hotkeys Printing

To print the Total Commander hotkeys list:

  1. On the File menu, click Export to Text File...
  2. In the Export to Text File dialog box, customize the exported list.
  3. Click Save button.
  4. After saving the file, according to the save mode it will be opened with the Notepad or Internet Explorer.
  5. On the Notepad or Internet Explorer File menu, click Print...

Options

  • Description: if checked, the 'Description' column will added to the list.
  • Command: if checked, the 'Command' column will added to the list.
  • Code: if checked, the 'Code' column will added to the list.
  • Default hotkey: if checked, the 'Default Hotkey' column will added to the list.
  • User-defined hotkey: if checked, the 'User-defined Hotkey' column will added to the list.
  • Alias: if checked, the 'Alias' column will added to the list.
  • Export all commands: if checked then all commands in the list will added even if it hasn't hotkey. (useful to print all Total Commander internal commands)
  • Export as HTML code: if checked then the hotkeys list will saved as web page.
  • Add separator: if checked, a separator line will inserted between each command. The default character forms the separator is '-', you can use another character by typing it in the text field.
  • Preview font:: this is a dropdown list contain 4 predefined font names Courier New, Fixedsys, Terminal and the forth is the program main window font.

Notes

  • Preview text box shows only the first 50 lines of the text that will be exported to the text file.
  • To print a sorted list, return to the program main window and sort the commands.
  • To arrange the command list columns, return to the program main window and re-arrange the command list columns (by dragging the column header) and when you back the preview text box will be updated.
  • If you used Notepad to print the file then for best printing results use a fixed width font e.g. Courier New, Fixedsys or Terminal font.
