Search Menu Commands (Configuration Editor)

Find...

Displays Find dialog box for searching the current data file for the specified text. The search is performed from the first key to the last key. If the string is not found or if there isn't anymore occurrence of the text the message "Cannot find ......" is displayed.

Options

  • Key name: search specified text in the keys name.
  • Key description: search specified text in the keys description.
  • Key value: search specified text in the keys value.
  • Match whole word only: This option allows the search to be restricted to whole words only. This is useful to make searching more specific.
  • Clear List: Click this button to delete all previous search text.

Find Next

Repeats the previous Find command, the next occurrence of the find text will be found (if present) or the message "Cannot find ......" is displayed.
