Favorites List

Overview

Favorites list provides speed access to many of Total Commander settings which you are changing frequently.

There are two ways to add an item to the favorite list:

  1. On the Favorites menu, click 'Add to Favorites...'.
  2. Drag any key from the program main window and Drop it into the favorite list. (if the Organize Favorites window is visible)

Buttons

  • Delete: delete the selected item.
  • Definition: finds the selected item in the main program window.
  • Up: moves the selected item one place up.
  • Down: moves the selected item one place down.
  • Add Separator: adds a separator line just above the selected item.
  • Save: saves any changes you did to the favorite list.
  • Close: Closes the 'Organize Favorites' window. If you try to close it before saving changes, you'll be prompted to save your work first.

Notes

  • Favorite list can accept up to 99 entries.
  • Favorite items that are not exist in current data file will be disabled. (shown in grayed color)
  • To rename an item in the favorite list, click it twice or press F2.
  • You can arrange favorite list items by Drag and Drop, also you can use keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Up and Ctrl+Down.
  • Double click on a favorite item finds it in the main program window (like Definition button).
